About Me

I'm a Christian, a wife of almost 12 years and a mother of 4 amazing children. I also teach 3rd grade teacher at our church's private school, where my children also attend. Which is sort of what this blog was born of...my struggles...and successes as a mom who adores her kids and wants more than anything for God's will to be done in the lives of her family while working outside the home. The name of my blog, at first glance, may seem that I go to my job begrudgingly or that I long to, instead, be at home with my children. That isn't the case at all. While if my husband came home tomorrow and said, "I've been praying, and I think it's time for you to stop working and be home with the kids", I would certainly do what he asks. But for now, this is where God has placed me, this is where my husband believes I should be. And I'm happy at my job. However, as I believe it should be, my children and family will always come first. My heart and my priorities lie with them. This blog is just my thoughts on this journey as I strive to please my Heavenly Father.
